Assam Rifles aids woman bitten by snake

Imphal, June 02 2022:
Somsai Battalion of IGAR (S) on Wednesday provided life-saving medical assistance to a woman of Tusom village in Ukhrul district, who was bitten by a venomous snake.
According to PRO IGAR (S), the woman was brought to the Assam Rifles medical aid post at Tusom with symptoms of mild fever, vomiting and headache since the time of bite.
She was rendered life-saving medical care and anti-venom medicines by AR medical officer and kept under observation.
After her condition stabilised, she was referred to PHC Chengai for further treatment, the PRO informed in a release.
