Imphal, August 07 2021:
Assam Rifles battalions of Churachandpur Sector IGAR (S) organised an online interaction to promote water conservation and rain water harvesting in remote villages of Churachandpur, Pherzawl, Bishnupur and Noney districts on Saturday.
According to PRO IGAR (S), lecture cum demonstrations were organised en the importance of rain water harvesting, storageand filtration of rain water for usage during summers.
The programme had huge participation of villagers and they were educated about the conservation of natural resources to maintain the ecological balance.
