Imphal, July 07 2013:
The Imphal-Jiribam Road (NH-37) has been opened up from 3.30 pm today after it remained cut-off since July 2 due to a major landslide near Nungdalan in Tamenglong district.
Conveying the message of road opening, President of Transporters' and Drivers' Council (TDC) H Ranjit has thanked the BRTF and ABCI team which had made a diversion road near Nungdalan Bridge by cutting the rocks using explosives.
The stranded freight trucks and passengers vehicles have set out for Imphal after the road was opened today.
