The Directorate of Education (S) Non-teaching Employees' Welfare Association during an executive meeting held yesterday has decided to donate one day's salary of employees of the Directorate to Chief Minister's Relief Fund for the victims of tsunami.
Accordingly, Association general secretary Th Nabachandra Singh has appealed to all the ZEO/DI officers to deduct the amount from the salaries of all the employees concerned and hand over the total collection to the Director of Education (S).
NHPC: NHPC Ladies Welfare Association, Loktak Power Station & Loktak Downstream Project, Manipur has donated Rs 12,865 to the Prime Minister�s Relief Fund for assistance to tsunami affected families in India�s coastal regions, informed a press release.
Relief donation: Khwai-ramband Bazar Stalls' Assn, Manipur has donated a sum of Rs 11,000 to Prime Minister's Relief Fund for the victims of tsunami disaster caused by an undersea earthquake on Dec 26 last.
The relief amount was sent in the form of a bank draft from UCO Bank.
