The Manipur Government is likely to issue an order tomorrow allowing clearance of pension and salary to employees for December 2004 month.
Currently the State Government has balance amount of Rs 99 crores at its account out of around Rs 110 crores required to pay pensions and salaries, said press sources who detailed that despite the shortage in number deduction of provident fund could easily pave the way for the salary and pension payments.
The balance amount of Rs 99 crores remained at the State account out of Rs 205 crores allocated to Manipur Government as wage and means advance which was released with consent of the Prime Minister last year.
