Imphal, July 12 2021:
MSPDCL Engage Employees Union has demanded releasing their salaries which have not been paid in the last 4 months and also appealed the Government to provide petrol if they are to continue doing their duty.
The union said this in a statement issued today and lamented the fact that the Government seems to have forgotten that they are also Covid warriors that have been working days in and out to provide service to the people in all weathers.
The members of the union had been working on minimum salary but that too has been put on hold for the last 4 months adding more woes to the staff during the pandemic, added the statement.
