Imphal, September 06 2015:
Hundreds of devotees thronged the Mahabali Hanuman Thakur temple today to celebrate Janmasthami, the birth of Lord Krishna, with the same religious fervour as witnessed each year on this day.
The Lord Hanuman temple at Imphal city was jampacked since early morning today as hundreds came to worship Lord Hanuman on the occasion of Janmasthami.
Devotees were seen offering fruits and flowers to monkeys living within the premises of the temple praying fervently for prosperity and good health in return.
Hundreds of temporary stalls selling toys and pooja materials filled the roadsides leading up to the temple.
