Trucks leave Jiri

Jiribam, January 05 2012:
At least 232 goods laden vehicles have left Jiribam for Imphal today along NH 37 being escorter by personnel of IRB.
The vehicles included 66 trucks of FCI rice, 32 diesel tankers, 21 trucks of cement, 14 LPG bullts, 12 petrol tankers, two trucks of sugar, two trucks of medicine and othe vehicles carrying essential commodities.
Meanwhile, a goods laden ten-wheeler truck fell into the river after a hanging bridge located near the Nungdolan along the Imphal-Jiribam road colapsed.
However, other trucks were transporting goods through alternate hill routes.
