Chandel, November 29 2015:
Committee on Protection of Tribal Rights (CoPoTR) Chandel urged the Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) Chandel to implement all the schemes which had been released by the State Government for the District.
In a press note, CoPoTR stated that there is no evidence of implementation and releasing of funds for several schemes including skill development training for adolescence girls; breast feeding day; nutrition week; monitoring evaluation; equipment & furniture; hot cooked meals etc., in the current year so far.
The committee asserted that it will not tolerate the act of indulging in corruption by misusing sanctioned funds without implementing the schemes.
CoPoTR further appealed the CDPO to provide the information sought under RTI Act 2005 by Tongsin Beton, Advisor of the Committee on November 9 last at the earliest.
