AMUVDA submits memo to CM

Imphal, November 29 2015:
All Manipur Unemployed Veterinary Doctors Association (AMUVDA) has submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister O Ibobi.
The memorandum signed and forwarded by AMUVDA President Dr T Chaoba Devi and Secretary Dr Shashibala Longjam stated that AMUVDA has been demanding recruitment against the existing vacant post through MPSC and create at least one post of veterinary doctor in every dispensary in all districts in the State.
The doctors' organisation also demanded to pay adequate monthly stipends to the unemployed veterinary doctors who are Government nominee till recruitments are done.
The veterinary doctors urged the Government to stop further selection of Government nominees for undergoing BVSC & All Courses until the existing unemployed degree holders are appointed in the State Veterinary Department.
AMUVDA appealed for granting special age relaxation to the unemployed Veterinary Doctors over and above the relaxation already granted at the time of lifting the recruitment ban by the Government.
They appealed the Government to stop recruiting on the contract or adhoc basic.
The AMUDA further demanded to immediate regularization of the promotion of senior Veterinary Officers who are taking charge of various higher administration posts.
