Angry patient walks out of JNIMS hospital

Expressing deep disgust against the conduct of some nurses at JNIMS hospital, a 47 year old appendix patient has walked out of the hospital pledging never to go back there again.
Speaking to reporters at Manipur Press Club today, the patient said that he was admitted to the hospital and an operation to remove the appendix was conducted there on March 28.As he felt like going to the toilet he visited the loo this morning, said the patient, identified as Pebam Uttam (47) son of late P Kanhai of Thangmeiband Kabrabam Leikai.
However on reaching the toilet, he found that there was no water.
'I therefore asked some of the nurses where I could get water for the ablutions," he said.
Instead of co-operating, the nurses turned on him and used insulting words, alleged Uttam and added that some of them even taunted him with the words, "Why don't you go and ask the Director ?" .
Disgusted with the behaviour of the nurses, Uttam walked out of the hospital today and has pledged never to go back there.
