Raghu Karnad's 'Farthest Field' released

Imphal, September 28 2015:
A book "Farthest Field" by prominent writer Raghu Karnad was released on Monday during a function jointly organised by the Department of Tourism, Government of Manipur and IMASI: The Maharaj Kumari Binodini Devi Foundation at MFDC Auditorium, Palace Compound.
The book based on the Indian history of World War II was released by Vice Chairman of IMASI Foundation Dr RK Nimai.
Speaking at the function, RK Nimai said that Manipuris will be interested to read the Farthest Field as it contains some parts of Manipur and many stories of Second World War II.
Writer Raghu Karnad also attended the function.
Later, the Farthest Field was discussed by many academicians while founder of IMASI: The Maharaj Kumari Binodini Devi Foundation, Somi Roy moderated the discussion.
