Titular king speaks up against disintegration of Manipur

Titular king Leishemba Sanajaoba has appealed to all not to try to disintegrate the land of Manipur which was given by the great forefathers by sacrificing their precious lives.
The 40th foundation day of Lainingthou Sanamahi Thougal Kanglup was observed on Monday at Haying Khongban where Leishemba Sanajaoba, Oinam Menjor Khuman and Kangjam Bidhu Khuman attended as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.
Speaking at the function, the titular king said that Manipur exists as a result of the sacrifices made by the forefathers.
Expressing disappointment on alleged one sided feeling of communal harmony seen since the last ten years, Leishemba Sanajaoba alleged that Meeteis have no any communal feeling.
No one should try to disintegrate Manipur but everyone should safeguard it, said the titular king while adding that lakhs of people will come out to sacrifice their lives for the territorial integrity of the State.
Leishemba Sanajaoba also condemned the religious based unity saying it affects a state like Manipur where a number of communities live.
Everyone should take back their steps if it harms interest of any community, said Sanajaoba and appealed to the people to unite and live peacefully instead of disintegrating the State.
