Women vendors clarify

Imphal, October 14, 2013:
Clarifying on a brawl that happened at New Market here and was reported in a local daily, women vendors of Shed No 2, 6, 10 and 13 stated that the incident occurred when the vendors of Shed No 1 attacked them.
Breifing media persons at Manipur Press Club today, Takhelambam Leibaklei, one of the vendors selling 'Mayanglang phijoi� at Shed No 2, 6, 10 and 13 of the New Market maintained that the trade dealt by them is as per and included in the IMC licence.
"The brawl was happened due to ignorance of the Shed No 1 vendors that the trade dealt by us is included in the licence and are sold accordingly".
