Kuki Inpi Sadar Hills endorses Senapati bandh

Strongly registering its condemnation over the State Home Department's Notification of June, 2011 and the O.Ibobi led SPF Govt.of Manipur over the silence on the Memorandum submitted by the Joint Committee of KISG and SANPO demanding cancellation of the said Notification Kuki Inpi Sadar Hills today announced its fullest support to the Joint Committee of KISG and SANPO which has called a 48-hr Senapati bandh with effect from midnight today.
Kuki Inpi Sadar Hills Caretaker Chungkam Haokip said that the June 2011 Home Department Notification speaks about the communal attitude of the Government of Manipur indirectly or directly and it is a challenge to the tribal peoples of the State particularly in the Hill districts.
He further asserted that though the communal state Govt.with its communal attitude plan to execute its communal policies through the Home Department Notification of dated June, 2011, the same Notification becomes the turning point of the tribal peoples of the state for their unity.
Various condemnations of the State Home Department Notification of June, 2011 and support to the Joint Committee of KISG and SANPO from several tribal bodies is on the other hand a threat to the State Govt.in case they(the State Govt.) do not cancelled the notification", KISH Caretaker said, while adding that the Govt.very well knows what will be the impacts if the tribal peoples of the State stand together for one cause.
He further said that the June 2011 State Home Department Notification has opened the eye of the tribal peoples and makes them see clearly how dreadful is the StateGovt.
