Kakching, November 20 2022: Library & Information Centre Kakching today organised the 24th Award Presentation Function 2022 at its auditorium in Kakching Phousupat Leikai.

It was attended by former Minister, Nongmaithem Nimai; Dr Usham Deben, Wabagai AC MLA & Chairman, Manipur Pollution Control Board; Kakching AC MLA, Mayanglambam Rameshwar and Professor Nongmaithem Rajmuhon, VC, DM University as presidium members.

During the programme, a total of 24 awards were conferred to 53 persons.

Governor's Award (BOSEM) was conferred to Rahul Laishram for securing 1st position in HSLC Exam 2022; Phanjoubam Gourahari Award to Mayanglambam Sania & Moirangthem Devarani; Ksh Sanajaoba, Amureima Award to Padma Shri Manaee Moirangthem Muktamani; Kshetrimayum Ibohal Award to Nongmaithem Kisun; Kshetrimayum Kulachandra Amasung Sija Award to Rahul Naorem & Abujam Anjali; Naorem Ganga Singh Award to Mayanglambam Sania; Yengkhom Yaima Singh Medical Awards were conferred to Nongmaithem Nebita, Moirangthem Jayalakshmi, Yendrembam Nandira & Pukhrambam Sylvia; Naorem Amuba Singh Teacher Award to Pukhrambam Kunjo; Naorem Niranjoy Memorial Meritorious Awards to Menaka Huidrom, Mayanglambam Sania & Shamjetshabam Rishikesh; Moirangthem Toyaima Memorial Award was given to Golmei Gaihemmei; Dr Ksh Ratan Memorial Sports Award to Maibam Linthoingambi; Naorem Bhubon Memorial Awards to Kshetrimayum Ahanjao (Pena Asheiba) & Naorem Nawang (Moibung Khongbal; Naorem Bhubon Memorial Award to Kshetrimayum Nandabir (Tha Shaba) & Kshetrimayum Mohendro; Yengkhom Nimai Memorial Award, Oja Achouba Merit Award and Naorem Rakesh Commemorative Award - were given to Mayanglambam Sania and Moirangthem Devarani; Nongmaithem Kokngang Singh-Maipak Devi Memorial Best Award to Naorem Ango & Naorem ongbi Kshetrimayum Yaima Devi; Naorem Nilachandra Memorial Awards to Naorem Jessica, Ariesto Oinam & Naorem Sovinity; Yengkhom Ibochou Amasung Tanou Best Manipuri Pony Farmers Award to Elangbam Lemba; Thambal Maipak Memorial Awards were handed over to Nongmaithem Dhanajit & Tanishq Tongbram; Mayanglambam Ratan Singh and Family Awards to Menaka Huidrom & Jesia Khwairakpam; Leeching Lambi Awards to Khulpuwa Kodunahim Maring, Salam Bidhyarani, Elangbam William, Kshetrimayum Sheitam & Yendrembam Jenish; Kshetrimayum Aber Singh and Salam Ibeton Devi Award for Best Reader was given to Oinam Prasanta; Yengkhom Mohendro Singh Award to Mayanglambam Surdas; Mayanglambam Khongnemba Singh & Tamphamdon Devi Memorial Awards to Chingkham Italy, Elangbam Sarankumar, Sarangthem Thoithoi Chanu, Shougrakpam Dinokumar, Sorokhaibam Priyadarshini, Moirangthem Devarani, Yumnam Yaiphaba and Ningthoujam Shadhana.
