Assam Rifles conducts lecture, interaction programme

Khuga Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) organised a lecture on "Healthy habits" at Hiangtam Khunao village, Churachandpur districttoday.
A release issued by PRO of IGAR(S) informed that the lecture was conducted with the aim to spread awareness on healthy habits, proper nutrition, hygiene and health care.
As a part of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan, Somsai Battalion of 10 Sector Assam Rifles also organised a lecture on drug abuse at Tusom village, Ukhrul District Moreover, Loktak Battalion of Assam Rifles organised an interaction programme with NEET aspirants of Assam Rifles Centre for Educational Excellence at Kangvai, Churachandpur on November 19 .

Brigadier Michael D'Souza, Commander, Churachandpur Sector Assam Rifles briefed the students about NEET preparation, personality development, health education and stress management while preparing for NEET examination.
30 girl students of Assam Rifles Centre for Educational Excellence were also briefed about the nuances of the selection procedure for joining Army Medical Corps and Assam Rifles including physical & academic requirements.
Keithelmanbi Battalion also conducted an interaction programme with students and faculty of Manipur University at Keithelmanbi Garrison on November 18 .
