Imphal, April 13 2009:
Greeting the party comrades, officials, MFL cadres, other revolutionary groups of the land and the general public on the 29th foundation day of the proscribed KCP which falls on April 14, the outfit's president Senggoi Meitei has asserted that the foremost duty of all at the present situation is to stand united and work together for the Nation, conveyed a statement issued by KCP's information and publicity secretary H Poirei.
Recalling the motto of Lamyanba Irabot that the war of liberation was not exclusive to any individual, the president called upon the people and groups to unite.
Since the day the liberation movement was launched on the soil of Manipur, there have been many great changes around the globe.
The tense cold war between the USA and the USSR has almost ended with the collapse of the socialist country.
After the collapse of the socialist economy, the capitalist economy of the US has also started crumbling now.
With the US economy going downhill and considering the impact it would have on the world economy, the National Intelligence Council of the USA has prepared a report, "Global Trends 2025: A Transformed World", Senggoi said.
Against all these dynamics of world economy, the socialist market economy of China based on Chinese characteristics has seen an unprecedented boom.
In the event of complete breakdown of the US economy, experts have been expecting that China and India would come to the forefront of a multi polar international system.
India has not been left out by any of the political analysts from their lists of future political and military powers.
On the other hand, together with the economic and cultural globalisation, the Government of India has been pursuing various policies vigorously to repress the 'Kanglei society', Senggoi alleged.
Considering the unfolding scenario, it is imperative for all revolutionary forces to join together in action rather than in words.
It is also equally crucial for the people to stand united on a common political platform and launch different movements, the president asserted.
At such critical juncture, some organisations of the North East region who have been caught in the web spun by India seem to have lost their revolutionary colour.
Because of such downfall faced by some organisations, some people have the perception that all revolutionary organisations of the land could never rise up.
On the other hand, some pseudo-revolutionaries and impostors have been maligning and defiling the genuine revolutionary movement.
These pseudo-revolutionaries are traitors who have either fallen into the trap of the adversaries or were deserters from one group or another, Senggoi observed.
To rein in such pseudo-revolutionaries is the collective responsibility of all the revolutionary groups, he noted.
If all the revolutionary groups come together, people surely will stand up courageously against the alien rule.
It would also expedite the revolutionary movement in achieving the ultimate goal, the KCP president asserted.
Addressing party comrades, the president observed that the KCP reached the present status because of the efforts of the comrades.
He further exhorted the cadres to show gratitude to the all the people who provided assistance to the party sincerely as well as to all friendly organisations on this important day.
Now, China which developed its social structure based on communism, is one of the leading power not only in Asia but in the entire world, Senggoi observed while calling upon all cadres to stand firm as devout communists and carry forward the liberation struggle in association with other revolutionary organisations till the destination of the 'Kanglei revolution' is reached.
