Relaxing its stand on Congress party and its workers, the proscribed KCP (MC) has announced that the restriction imposed earlier in connection with the forthcoming MP has been lifted.
In a statement, secretary military affairs of the proscribed Lanheiba Meitei said public can participate and exercise their franchise without any fear.
However, the need for electing an able leader should be kept in mind, he added.
While conveying greetings to the people on the occasion of completing 29 years of KCP (MC)'s participation in the 60-year old struggle for independence of Manipur, Lanjeiba said that while paying homage to the departed founder leaders of the outfit like Pajihan Paji Ibopishak and Pajiyaima Ibohanbi as well as to other KFL cadres who sacrificed their lives to the cause, KCP (MC) has also renewed its pledge of following the path shown by them.
