AMUCO donates edible items to homes

Imphal, February 03 2023:
All Manipur United Clubs' Organisation (AMUCO), on Friday commenced donation of edible items to old age and orphan homes in connection with its upcoming 30th foundation day to be held on February 12 .
The AMUCO team led by its president Pheiroijam Nando Lu-wang and vice-president MM Thambou donated two bags of rice, on? bag of onion and potato each and a box of biscuits to Langol Old Age Home, Langol Ningthou Leikai in Imphal West district.
Speaking on the side-lines, Nando Luwang informed that the donation was made with an aim to extend support to aged people and orphans living in homes bereft of social support.
Informing that similar donations will be continued in connection with its foundation day, Nando added that blood donation camps will also be conducted at RIMS and JNIMS hospitals.
Stating that Manipur, since ancient times, have a tradition of helping those in need, Nando urged the present generation to continue the tradition.
AMUCO firmly believes in mutual growth and peaceful co-existence, Nando said, adding that, it will continue to extend assistance to homes from time to time.
