PSO celebrates 13th foundation day

Imphal, October 13 2021:
Pangal Students' Organisation (PSO) celebrated its 13th foundation day at Manipur Press Club here on Tuesday.
The celebration was attended by Education (s) director N Nandakumar as chief guest and PSO president BM Zecshan as functional president while AMUCO president Ph Nando Luwang, MSF president Kh Bidyasagar, MSF and PSO advisor Kh Serajuddin and Ng Milan were guests of honour.
Addressing the gathering, BM Zecshan said that as students continued to be deprived of normal education for the last two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there is strong apprehension about students taking addictive substances.
While informing that the organisation has been involved in various activities including promotion of quality education by joining hands with like-minded organisations, he reiterated that students and youth in Pangal inhabited areas are vulnerable to indulge in addictive substances.
PSO is also actively involved in tackling drug abuse, the president and informed that a committee will be formed to restrict sale and consumption of addictive substances.
Zecshan further urged every Community of the state to stand together for uprooting the social evils and work for a progressive society.
