Inter-School debating competition held

Imphal, November 25 2022:
Assam Rifles Public School (ARPS), Mantripukhri organised an inter-school debating competition on the topic 'Are Online Classes good or bad for the students' for junior category and on 'Social media has improved Human Communication' for senior category at the school's premises on Friday.
The competition presided over by ARPS principal Dr Alka Jain was attended by High Court of Manipur advocate Deni Sharma Aribam, Indian Institute of Information Technology assistant professor Dr Sanjib Choudhury and SMC parent member Horyaola Khangrah as panel of experts.
In the junior category, Manish Nepram of Maria Montessori School, Koirengei (For the Motion) and Bhavya Chaudhury of ARPS (Against the Motion) bagged the first position while Peingam Raleng of Maria Montessori School (For the Motion) and Tashiya Lukram of Maria Montessori (Against the Motion) won the second position.
In the Senior Category, Ria Tongbram of Maria Montessori School (For the Motion) and Rista Gautam of ARPS bagged the first position while Tankhalbou Daimal of ARPS (For the Motion) and Gagarin Thoudam of Camp's English Academy, Luwangsangbam (Against the Motion) won the second position.
Best speaker title of the competition was awarded to Jashiya Lukram of Maria Montessori School.
