'Wakhal Eronba' bags best production award

Imphal, September 16 2022: Sanaleibak Nachom Artistes' Association's play 'Wakhal Eronba' bagged best production award in the 50th All Manipur Shumang Leela Festival organised by Manipur State Kala Akademi.

The result of Shumang Leela competition (male) held at Iboyaima Shumang Leela Shanglen was declared on Thursday evening.

In male category, Sangai Artiste Association's 'Laklaroi Amuk Yeningtha' and Peace Maker Artistes' Association's 'Mutlaroidaba Machu' won second and third best production awards.

Naba Wareppa bagged best director; Tarachan Oinam best script for the play Laklaroi Amuk Yeningtha , Yumnam Arunkumar best actor (male) and S Deepson best actor (female) while Surjit Saikhom won the best actor award in comic role.
