Foundation day / felicitation function held

Imphal, August 14 2022: Friends Union Club, Khongnang Pheidekpi observed its 72nd Foundation Day and Patriots' Day along with felicitation of meritorious students at its premises on Saturday.

As part of the observance, floral tributes were offered to the portraits and the deceased members of the Club.

On the occasion, a pioneer pillar was also unveiled by Oinam Thingel GP pradhan Thongam Guneshwar (Dara), in the presence of Langthabal ZP member Leimajam Roshan and Club president Thongam Ibomcha.

Later, various awards were distributed to the meritorious students of the area including position holders in different examinations.

A poetry recitation and monologue session was also organised for the students.
