Blankets gifted to poor people

Society for Bright Future, New Delhi under the sponsorship of Project Rahat in collaboration with Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Manipur State Branch presented blankets to 100 people belonging to weaker sections of the society on Monday.
The programme held at BM Muzaffar Ali Masjid, Lilong Ubakthong Makha was attended by MSRDCL deputy general manager Mohd Riyajuddin Khan, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Manipur State Branch organiser Abdul Helim and Rural Engineering Department executive engineer Md Maniruddin as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.
Speaking on the occasion, Abdul Helim informed that the blankets were being distributed under the Society's yearly Winter Relief Project with an aim to help people from weaker sections of society during the cold winter and promote love and harmony amongst the masses.
