Security beefed up

Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's scheduled visit to Manipur, security measures have been beefed up in Imphal and its adjoining areas.
The Prime Minister is likely to land in Imphal at around 10.40 am tomorrow.
Fencing posts have also been erected on either side of the road stretch from Bir Tikendrajit International Airport upto Hapta Kangjeibung.
In addition to deploying tight security, the District Magistrate of Imphal West had directed to shut all oil pumps along the Tiddim road from 8 am till the Prime Minister leaves Imphal.
As the Prime Minister will address a public meeting at Hapta Kangjeibung in Imphal East at around 11 am tomorrow, a large number of security personnel have also been deployed there and its surrounding areas.
Meanwhile, it is reported that Union Home Amit Shah will also visit Manipur on December 6 .
During his stay, Amit Shah is likely to go to Moirang and inspect the projects implemented there.
