RIMS begins fortnight observance of Swachhta Pakhwada

Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) kick-started the campaign for Swachhta Pakhwada on Friday.
As a part of launch of the fortnight observance, head of Dermatology department and RIMS medical superintendent in-charge prof Th Nandakishore Singh administered the "Swachhta Pledge" to the faculty members, officers and staff of RIMS and also the staff of CRED and Manipur Security Service in front of OPD Block.
A release by RIMS media advisor N Phillip Singh, said that the medical superintendent in-charge urged the faculty members, officials and staff members to fulfill Mahatma Gandhi's vision of Clean.
India which was started as a massive mass movement.
A massive cleanliness programme was also conducted on the first day of the observance with the participation of members of CRED and Manipur Security Service.
During the observance of Swachhta Pakhwada, the institute will be organising various programmes and activities including street play, Swachhta Health Camps, Poster Campaign, Sanitization drives, World Health Day, Painting Competition, Tree Plantation, Cyclothon, etc, added the media advisor.
