51st Kshetrigao Local CPI conference held

The 51st Kshetrigao Local CPI conference was held on Thursday at the residence of Mirza Galiba (Bijan) at Kshetrigao Awang Leikai with N Gopal, O Nobo and A Lala attending as presidium members.
CPI state secretary L Sotinkumar, who was special guest at the conference, said that BJP used money and muscle power in the 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly election held recently and emerged as the single largest party.
So, what would be the future of the people in the state could be predicted from BJP's utilisation of money and muscle power in the recent election, he said adding that BJP always stand against working class people.
According to Sotinkumar, wealthy people of the country are looting common people by taking advantage of price hike of petrol, diesel and cooking gas by BJP government and subsequently leading to increase in prices of essential commodities.
During the conference, a local council comprising 34 councillors was formed with Ksh Bhogen as local secretary, A Bhiram and P Takhellei Devi as assistant secretaries and A Lala as treasurer.
