Seminar on Tele-Consultation, E-Sanjeevani organised

To assist patients in consulting doctors through Tele-Consultation and E-Sanjeevani OPD, a seminar was organised by Non-Communicable Diseases Cell (NCD), Churachandpur district at the conference hall of Churachandpur District Hospital on Tuesday.
The seminar was participated by staff of all Health and Wellness Centres (HWCs), community health officers and medical officers of the district hospital.
The training was imparted by NCD Cell district nodal officer Dr Thanglawmlal and assistant programme manager Ningshen Worthingla while 16 community health officers, 10 doctors and NCD staff attended the training programme.
The participants were trained on Tele-Consultation and how to ensure video communication between doctors on duty and the patients who turn up at the Health and Wellness Centres.
The trainees were given knowledge on how the community health officer on duty at the HWC should log in by using his or her own I-D after which patients will converse with doctors on duty at the district hospital through video conference thereafter the doctor will prescribe medicines.
In this connection, a duty roaster for Telemedicine Command Centre was created which will be worked out by Dr Thanglawmlal and Dr Niamgneiching Tombing.
