Tupul's Gonmei awarded gold medal in SEAS

Imphal, April 28 2022: Felicita Gonmei, daughter of William Gonmei and late Adamlu Martha Gangmei of Charoi Tupul, has been awarded the Gold Medal for her post graduate study on Southeast Asian Studies (SEAS) at Manipur University, the result of which was declared recently.

Felicita is in the first batch of SEAS introduced by MU.

Her mother passed away just before her examination but she rushed back to MU for her examination after attending the funeral.

She studied at Maram Don Bosco and secured the 5th rank in COHSEM examination in arts stream.

Later, she attended St Anthony's College at Shillong for her graduation and opted political science.

She secured the 9th rank in Meghalaya.

After that, she came back to MU and enrolled for South East Asian Studies (SEAS) for her post graduation.
