Ambulance, doctors sent to treat victim of road mishap

Four ambulance and four doctors including an orthopedic and a medicine specialists have rushed to Jessami on Saturday to look after the victims who sustained injuries in a tragic accident that took place on Friday at a spot between Phek, Nagaland and Jessami, Manipur.
The team will visit the patients at a hospital in Phek district on Sunday after treating patients at Jessami on Saturday.
The accident killed 13 and left many others injured.
The injured will be transported to Imphal for further treatment and the patients admitted to the hospital in Phek district will be looked after besides making efforts to bring them to Imphal for treatment, said O.Ibomcha, Director of State Health Services.
The victims were returning from a marriage party when their vehicle, a Nagaland State Transport bus met with an accident.
ICHAM Condoles
Information Centre for Hill Areas, Manipur (ICHAM) deeply condoled the death of 13 persons in the road mishap met by a marriage party while coming back from Phek, Nagaland to Jessami, Manipur on March 13 .
They have extended grief to the bereaved family members of Jessami village, Ukhrul District and appealed to the government and concerned district administration to extend all the possible assistance to the bereaved families and the injured persons according to a statement issued by ICHAM general secretary Ngachonmi Ramshang.
TKS condoles
Tangkhul Katamnao Saklong (TKS) Saturday offered condolences to the bereaved families of the victims who died in a bus accident that occurred near Phek in Nagaland.
In a message, TKS President Joel Angkang said the Saklong shared the grief of the bereaved families and prayed that the Almighty comforts them through this time of loss.
