AMSU demands special exam for students

Imphal, March 23 2015:
All Manipur Students' Union (AMSU) demanded the Government to arrange special examination for the students who could not appear in the CBSE exam for class X and XII this year.
According to a statement issued by AMSU HRD Secretary Nongthombam Kapilchandra Singh, hundreds of students could not appear Class X and XII examination conducted by CBSE as they were not issued admit cards by CBSE due to alleged negligence by some schools.
He alleged that the Government has failed to take effective steps to arrange special examinations for the students and urged the Government to take action against the erring schools authorities.
AMSU also demanded the Fact Finding Committee to submit their reports immediately and appealed the student victims to submitted related documents to AMSU office on or before March 28 at the student body's Headquarters.
