KNA (I) celebrates rising day

The Kuki National Army (I) on Saturday observed its 5th Rising Day at Camp Jangmol Dingpi GHQs with the participation of various village chiefs, CSOs leaders and top ranking officials of the outfit.
A statement signed by Barrack Kuki, information & publicity secretary of the militant outfit said that top ranking officials of the outfit including its C-in-C Benny Kuki and Felin Kuki, chairman of the outfit and other cabinet members attended the function.
Home secretary of the outfit John Kuki while paying tribute to all the cadres who sacrificed their precious lives pointed out that it is the unceasing blessing of the Almighty God that the outfit could celebrate its 5th rising day.
Greeting the people on the occasion, the C-in-C of the outfit Benny Kuki also paid homage to (L) Nehlun Kipgen, founder of KNF; (L) Thangkholun Haokip, founder of KNA; (L) K Hangshing, C-in-C of KRA; (L) Letkholun Kuki, C-in-C of KLA and (L) SK Kipgen, C-in-C of KNF(MC) apart from various other noted Kuki leaders who sacrificed their precious lives for the cause of the Kukis.
He also said that KNA (I) will always promote unity of all communities of the State and will tirelessly put efforts towards the realisation of the cherished dream.
Various CSOs leaders and village chiefs also extended their hearty gratitude to the outfit for their tireless efforts in bringing unity and peace among the Kukis in particular and the people of Manipur in general while encouraging them to carry on the endeavour in future too.
A mass blessing prayer for the outfit was also held on the occasion.
In the meantime, to safeguard and protect the identity, tradition, custom and culture of the Kukis, the militant outfit categorized its operational area into four divisions namely Div-1 (Chandel-Ukhrul); Div-2 (Senapati- Sadar Hills- Tamenglong); Div - 3 (Churachandpur) and Div- 4 (Imphal).
It also appointed Momon, Alex Kuki, Vicky and Lampu Eimi as the finance in-charge of the said four divisions respectively.
