Three infected, Covid active tally rises

Imphal, November 08 2022:
Number of active cases of Covid-19 in the state rose to 8 on Tuesday with government bulletins reporting no new recovery compared to detection of three new positive cases from out of 123 samples tested in the last 24 hours with 2.4 per cent positivity rate.
The three fresh cases (2 males & 1 female) are residents of Imphal East (1) and Imphal West (2) districts.
Out of the eight active cases, seven are in home isolation.
No death case was reported in the last 24 hours and the toll stands at 2149 including seven CAPF personnel.
So far, the virus has infected 1,39,894 individuals including 5,022 CAPF personnel.
In the last 24 hours, 425 vaccine doses were administered and it took the cumulative number of vaccinated people to 16,47,718, out of which 13,34,567 have received the second doses and 2,75,215 precautionary doses.
As per data maintained by The People's Chronicle based on IDSP and CCR reports, number of total cases in different districts are Imphal West (49840), Imphal East (32062), Thoubal (10298), Churachandpur (11291), Kangpokpi (3188), Tamenglong (3497), Bishnupur (9985), Senapati (2547), Ukhrul (3370), Kakching (6980), Chandel (2797), Noney (1173), Tengnoupal (1214), Jiribam (1118), Kamjong (1057), and Pherzawl (477) .
Fatality counts in different districts are Imphal West (712), Imphal East (517), Thoubal (192), Churachandpur (169), Kangpokpi (70), Tamenglong (17), Bishnupur (206), Senapati (13), Ukhrul (52), Kakching (124), Chandel (43), Noney (5), Tengnoupal (17), Jiribam (7), Kamjong (5), and Pherzawl (0) .
