Senapati Sub-Divisional HQs set to light with solar lamps

Taking a step ahead in development sector, Senapati District Administration under the leadership of new DC Kirankumar will light up all Sub-Divisional HQs with solar powered street lighting.
The new initiatives will reach far flung SDO offices like Phaibung, Paomata, Tadubi, Mao and Willong within the month of October this year.
The solar lighting project is jointly undertaken by Senapati District Administration and MANIREDA where the State Government also plans to reach solar facilities in remote areas of the State.
According to DC Kirankumar who took over the charge only in August first week informed, "all efforts to activate and complete pending works and ongoing Government projects has began".
District officials are now task to implement Govt projects, reach those work sites and inspect to address people's needs and fulfil targets set by the Government, he stated.
Different remote areas will be personally visited to address and hear their grievances, added the young Administrator who recently visited Paomata villages.
