Two new cases take caseload to 12

Imphal, November 25 2022:
Number of active cases of Covid-19 in the state rose to 12 on Friday, as government bulletins reported no recovery and two new cases from out of 57 samples tested in the last 24 hours with 3.5 per cent positivity rate.
The two fresh cases (1 male & 1 female) are residents of Imphal East and Imphal West districts.
No death case was reported in the last 24 hours and the toll stands at 2149 including seven CAPF personnel.
So far, the virus has infected 1,39,915 individuals including 5,022 CAPF personnel.
In the last 24 hours, 334 vaccine doses were administered and it took the cumulative number of vaccinated people to 16,48,376, out of which 13,36,414 had received the second dose and 2,78,344 precautionary doses.
As per data maintained by The People's Chronicle based on IDSP and CCR reports, number of total cases in different districts are Imphal West (49845), Imphal East (32066), Thoubal (10299), Churachandpur (11294), Kangpokpi (3188), Tamenglong (3497), Bishnupur (9987), Senapati (2548), Ukhrul (3372), Kakching (6982), Chandel (2797), Noney (1173), Tengnoupal (1214), Jiribam (1118), Kamjong (1058), and Pherzawl (477) .
Fatality counts in different districts are Imphal West (712), Imphal East (517), Thoubal (192), Churachandpur (169), Kangpokpi (70), Tamenglong (17), Bishnupur (206), Senapati (13), Ukhrul (52), Kakching (124), Chandel (43), Noney (5), Tengnoupal (17), Jiribam (7), Kamjong (5), and Pherzawl (0) .
