KNLF's designated camp at Semol in final stage: Lalmoi Haokip

Imphal, May 28 2014:
The construction of a designated camp of Kuki National Liberation Front (KNLF) at Semol Village in Chandel district is in the final stage of completion, General Secretary of KNLF Lalmoi Haokip told media persons at a place in Chandel district today.
He further said that the officials of Ministry of Home Affairs and State Home Department can now inspect the designated camp of the KNLF at Semol Village.
The camp is being constructed mostly from the outfit's funds with generous contributions from nearby villagers.
The order for construction of the designated camp at Selmon Village was issued by the State Government on May 4 this month and the construction works began from May 10 .
Personnel of 6th Dogra Regiment are currently guarding the camp.
A total of 40 cadres of KNLF, who were earlier staying at Army camps, would now be housed at this designated camp, the General Secretary added.
