Expelled BJP leaders speak up

The four expelled BJP leaders from Manipur claimed that the 'High Command' of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has regretted over their expulsion from the primary membership of the party for six years and expressed that it bears no significance at all, assuring appropriate action would be taken up as and when the matter reaches the National Office of the party formally.
Expulsion of the senior leaders of Manipur unit of BJP� S Rajen Singh, former minister, L Jatra Singh, also a former minister, Y Khemchand Singh and N Ratan�were appeared both in local and national dailies on September 7 and 8 .
In a joint press release, the four aggrieved state BJP leaders said on Thursday that they have submitted a representation to the BJP Party High Command to intervene and review the order of their expulsion as per provisions of the party constitution.
It said the order was a willful attempt to tarnish their public image.
The BJP high command has regretted over their expulsion from the party and expressed that it bears no significance at all and also assured that timely appropriate action would be taken up as and when the matter reaches the National Office of the party formally, the release claimed.
It said that such an act spoiling the clean reputation of the saffron party is detrimental to the organisation.
