TET for PWDs at DM College

The differently abled persons or Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) will be appearing in Teacher's Eligibility Test (TET) at DM College, informed Momo Tanjanga, President of All Tribal Disable Union Manipur (ATDUM) .
Addressing media persons at Manipur Press Club today, Momo said that an understanding has been arrived at between ATDUM and the Education Minister over the demand for a separate centre for the differently abled persons appearing in TET.
Accordingly, the decision to call a 12-hour bandh in all the hill districts of the state with effect from 5 am of October 29 have been cancelled altogether.
As per the agreement brought between the Education Minister and ATDUM, the centre for the differently abled persons has been assigned at DM College.
Ex-MLA BD Behring was also reportedly present during the meeting held at the office chamber of Education Minister.
