Mock drill conducted

Imphal, January 18 2019:
Composite Hospital CRPF in collaboration with Indian Red Cross Society, Imphal West have organised a "First aid demo cum mock drill exercise" for evacuation of emergency patient at Group Centre, CRPF Langjing today.
The programme was conducted to give awareness to the troops and to check their efficiency in handling natural and man-made disasters like earthquake, flood and IED blast among others, said a statement of 109 Bn Commandant today.
At the drill, Dr Y Mohan Singh of IRCS Imphal West talked about "Aims and objectives of Red Cross Society" while Dr Bankim Chandra, Master Trainer of IRCS lectured on "First aid and demonstration about cleanliness (Swachh Bharat Abhiyan)" .
Dr Koijam Arunkanta Singh, Chairman IRCS and other staff and volunteers of IRCS also attended the programme, said the statement.
Under the aegis of Rajesh Kumar, IPS Manipur and Nagaland Sector, CRPF, Mohinder Kumar, DIG, I Lokendro Singh, DIG, Dr HC Lingaraj DIG (Medical), Sk Sharma, DIG, RK Kanaujia, DIG along with several other CRPF personnel also attended the programme, said the statement.
