BJP meet bats for strengthening party

Imphal, January 31 2023:
The two-day State Executive Meeting 2023 of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Manipur Pradesh culminated at INA complex, Moirang on Tuesday.
During the meeting discussions were held on strengthening the party and also about the upcoming elections.
The last day of the meeting was jointly chaired by chief minister N Biren and BJP Manipur Pradesh president A Sharda Devi, and attended by BJP ministers, MLAs and party workers.
The meeting discussed the organisational set-up of the party and the upcoming urban local bodies' elections, including how the party could win the elections as the majority par ty.
The upcoming G20 summit was also discussed and the PM's decision to bring international focus on Manipur and the other north-east states was appreciated.
It then discussed the support and roles to be played by the party workers in making the summit a success.
In addition, the PM's monthly interaction with the nation through Mann Ki Baat' on All India Radio was discussed, along with issues related to implementation and effective delivery of various schemes to the people at the grassroots level.
Lastly, the BJP government's maintenance of law and order in the state and curbing of poppy cultivations was brought up during the meeting.
