Thangal Students Union fetes successful candidates

The Thangal Students Union has organised a felicitation function cum orientation programme to honour successful candidates of the Class X and XII exams conducted by BOSEM and COHSEM at its headquarter at Tumnoupokpi.
The programme was graced by H Khangba, member, ADC, Sadar Hills as the chief guest and YK Kaping, president, Thangal Union as the guest of honour.
Delivering the welcome note, S Meiduipa Thangal, president Thangal Students Union said that failure and success, pain and joy and defeat and victory are part of ones life but it is upto the individual not to bog down by failure, pain and defeat but instead bouced back with more determination and focus to overcome the hurdle to achieve success in future.
Congratulating the successful candidates on behalf of the student body, the president wished them success in their future endeavour.
YK Kaping, in his speech, asked the successful candidates not to forget their parents who supported them at all times.
Speaking as the chief guest, H Khangba, member, ADC, Sadar Hills advised the upcoming tribal students not to be disappointed but be strong in their will.
The ADC member also asked them not to indulge into any intoxicants.
71 students who have succeeded in Class X and XII examinations this year were feted by the student body.
