DC Jiribam helps stranded students

Jiribam, June 07 2019:
Students of Martin Grammar School, Kakching who were stranded at Jiribam were provided food, grains and other edible items with a shelter today by Jiribam DC Robert Singh Kshetrimayum.
The students along with the teachers on an educational excursion were returning from Shillong.
They were stranded near Jiribam Police Station due to Kuki Students' organisation's 24 hrs general strike.
Hearing the news of the students stranded at Jiribam, DC Robert who is also from Kakching immediately dispatched his staff and helped the students, said teachers expressing gratitude to the Deputy Commissioner.
