UCM extends help to labourers

Imphal, July 01 2021: United Committee Manipur (UCM) on the occasion of its upcoming 21st foundation day extended help to labourers across the State.

In a press release, UCM said that labourers in the State have been badly impacted by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic depriving them of their regular source of income.

Acknowledging the umpteen contributions of the labour force, the Committee took up the initiative of helping the labourers who have been left on their own amid the difficult time.

Further UCM appealed to the Government to look into the condition of the labourers in the State and take up necessary steps for their upliftment.

The Committee also sought blessings from the people for its upcoming foundation day and urged all to strictly follow the Covid SOPs and guidelines issued by the relevant authorities to curb the further spread of the pandemic.
