Three couples caught in restaurant drive

Three couples, who were found in inappropriate manner inside the dark cabins of restaurants, have been rounded up during a drive jointly conducted by Organisation for Indian Crimes Against Women (Crime Women) and Manipur Students' Federation (MSF) today.
The three couples were subsequently handed over to their respective family members after giving necessary advice.
They were caught from Fair and Lovely Restuarant, Nambol; Denier Fast Food, Ngaikhong Khunou and a restaurant with no name located along the road from Nambol to Irom Meijrao.
During the drive, a young woman, who had eloped to a man was also found with another man in an indecent manner inside the restaurant.
The woman disclosed that she had eloped to another man and arrangements are being made for their marriage.
She refused to become wife of the man with whom she was found.
The man revealed that he got acquainted with the woman only three days back and it was their first date.
He also refused to accept the woman as his wife since he did not have any knowledge of her past affairs and marriage arrangement.
Besides the three couples, the activists also rounded up 40 other people who were found inside dark cabins of restaurants in Khangabok area and Malom to Bishnupur areas.
They too have been handed over to their respective family members.
During the course of the drive, dark cabins divided by temporary partition walls and large sofas were found inside the restaurants were destroyed and burnt down by the activists.
Besides, used and unused condoms were also found lying inside the restaurants.
