Indefinite blockade & bandh from 4 pm today

The JAC formed against the brutal killing of Seitinlal Kipgen and Tongkhosal Haokip, Kuki Inpi and KSO have threatened to call an indefinite bandh and blockade along the National Highways in the State with effect from 4 pm tomorrow in case the State government fails to arrest all those persons involved in the killing by then.
Announcing this during a press conference at Manipur Press Club here today, Hengah Kipgen, Convener of the JAC informed that Seitinlal Kipgen and Tongkhosal Haokip went missing after they went out and reportedly abducted by unidentified armed persons at Nongpok keithelmanbi area on April 29 .
Complaints were made to Yairipok Police Station to trace the whereabouts of the missing duo and a memorandum had also been submitted to the Chief Minister in the regard.
However, the two missing men were found murdered atop Narenpok ching near Nongpok Sekmai under Yairipok Police Station of Imphal East district with their bodies in a highly decomposed state, Hengah Kipgen lamented.
Seitinlal Kipgen (50) hailed from Bongbal Khullen in Saikul sub-division in Sadar Hills, Senapati district while Tongkhosal Haokip (35) was a native of Masenjang village in Churachandpur district.
Seitinlal owned a pharmacy at Nongpok Keithelmanbi before while Haokip was a carpenter by profession.
