Mobile medical health camp

A district mobile medical health camp was organised at Chaengdai (Akhui) village today.
More than 180 people mainly from Bamgaijang, Taijijang, Ramgailong and Kahulong were examined.
Blood and urine samples of patients were examined and 7 were detected with diabetes mellitus.
Mobile ICTC team also conducted HIV counselling and testing.
Most of the patients examined suffered from common cold, cough with fever, colitis, gastritis, bodyache, eye and ear ailments, UTI, reproductive infections,
dental problems, etc.
Pregnant mothers were also examined.
No serious cases were detected. The mobile team also met the Village Health and Sanitation Committee and discussed their grievances and requirements .
