Social worker asks all stakeholders to have long term vision

Educationist as well as social worker Dr Soraisam Manaoton conveyed that the youths, organisations and clubs in the State, who are working tirelessly to bring progress and develop a strong and respectable Nation, should have a long term vision in order to achieve their ultimate dream.
Speaking to media persons at the office of Development Committee, Naoriya Pakhanglakpa AC, Sangaiprou today, Dr Manaoton who is also the chairman of the Development Committee opined that for Manipur which does not have ample resources nor a strong industrial sector, the stakeholders should put their energy and ideas on enhancing human resources, promoting the rich heritage and cultures of the State and shed light on sports as well as the sports lovers of Manipur.
He noted that many sports players have brought laurels to the State and its people however, these personalities are not even properly recognised.
Dr Manaoton further conveyed that the youths and all the stakeholders should get included in the technological and development race adding that people should come together to bring a developed society and a Nation.
Underlining the importance of health in the overall development of a place, Dr Manaoton announced that a veteran football tournament (for players above 40 years), will be organised from January 3 till 5, 2019, under his sponsorship for Naoriya Pakhanglakpa AC.
He appealed all to extend aid and cooperation in organising the tournament which will be held for the second time.
