CCpur denizens advised to follow Covid SOP

CCpur, July 19 2022:
District surveillance officer (DSO) Dr Kaisiankhai on Tuesday appealed to the public to follow the COVID-19 SOP and advised the denizens to wear masks, avoid crowded places, follow social distancing, use sanitizers and adhere to preventive measures put in place by the state government from time to time.
The DSO made the appeal during a press meet held at the CMO's office on Tuesday in wake of spike in COVID-19 cases in the state.
Dr Kaisiankhai informed that most of the persons found Covid positive each day are from those hailing from Singngat area.
He also revealed that there are dengue cases among people from the same area and stated that so far there are five persons infected with dengue while urging all to keep their surroundings clean.
The DSO announced that Covid test will be conducted at the district hospital testing centre free of cost for those who have already developed symptoms and for others at a nominal rate.
He appealed to all to get tested for Covid-19 .
The doctor, however, said that so
far there is no patient in the isolation ward while informing that the district hospital is keeping 20 beds ready for use.
He added there is no worry for oxygen supply.
