Urup HSS achieves 100 % pass percentage in HSLCE

The School Management Committee (SMC), teachers and guardians of Urup Higher Secondary School, Urup, Imphal East have expressed happiness at students of the school achieving a 100% pass percentage in the recently declared HSLC examination conducted by BOSEM.
The successful students were presented with simple gifts by the SMC during a meeting convened today at the school hall to discuss methods to improve future prospects of the school.
It is worth noting that out of a total of 55 students, 45 cleared the HSLCE in the 1st division while the remaining 10 passed in the 2nd division, thereby securing a 100% pass percentage.
The meeting was also attended by W Inaocha, principal-in-charge, school staff, retd teacher L Jugindro, representatives of the SMC and guardians of students.

Manihar highlighted the inadequate number of teachers working at the school and urged the State Government to address this issue at the earliest in the interest of the students as well as the residents of the area.
It is worth mentioning that Urup Higher Secondary School is one of the schools approved for School Fagathansi Mission.
W Inaocha urged the guardians and residents of the locality to contribute in bettering Urup Higher Secondary School by admitting their children into the school.
